Raise a lil Hell - It's time!

Gypsy and Dale you two are truly wonderous! I am so glad to be here because of you two. Gypsy, my heart swells with smiles and warmth for you and Neil. Dale, with everything you are dealing with now, you still stop by to pick me up!

LADIES - YOU BOTH ARE AN INSPIRATION FOR ME AND THANK YOU!

Hey Cheryl Ann
Sorry I didn't blog on sooner... Gypsy put the word out you needed a little lift! Haven't any eye candy to send you just yet (I'll work on that though) but I agree with Doc Gypsy's prescription, and have to concur with our esteemed associate Dale... sometimes it seems like there is a little too much testing going on...
When those days make you want to just call it all quits, I recommend the following:
A glass of wine, or a good scotch if you have it handy. Put on whatever music makes you the happiest, take a bath, and sip whatever libation you have chosen. Then, put on your favourite outfit, do your makeup and hair, and go to the market... wander about selecting fresh veggies with great care and deliberation, and with an air of internal peace so tangible that everyone will (and they will) notice and stop a moment to wonder if they can breathe it into themselves.
A little smile, a little hum, being ever so regal without the arrogance. True royalty has nothing to do with bloodlines you know.
Allow yourself to block out every harsh sound in your life, and focus soley on you for a few hours, or a full day, if you can achieve it!
I know the above scenario sounds silly, but trust me, you will walk away feeling more peaceful. An outdoor market is best if one is available. There is just something about physically preparing for peace by taking time to bathe and dress, which also means you are nurturing yourself, and then taking for yourself (because no one will give it to you, so you MUST take it) the time to wander about... the fresh vegetables.. that, for me, just brings me back to the basics, and as I browse them, I imagine what I will prepare, and how delcetable it will be... a lovely marinara, or a brilliant salad that looks as gorgeous as it it tastes, and allows you to let loose your creativity with edible art...
hmmm... think I might just head to the market myself. Where are my high heels?
xx

Aw shucks, Cheryl Ann...you're very welcome!

We can only be truly there with you if we've been there ourselves.
A bit of misery does love company and that can be healing and strengthening, too.

I love Steph's (Stevie's) prescription - I could use a bit of it, too...hmmmm.

When you take your trip to the market will you wear a purple wig?
