Cheryl Ann he's beautiful! Did you really just find him hanging around? It's a lovely photo too - a real keeper.
Speaking of which, I've been catching up with your previous photos and pics. What a fantastic holiday and a truly memorable event. I bet it's nice to be home, but It'll be hard to avoid that "back to earth" bump after such a fab trip. These photos are just precious.
Stay happy. I'm going back to look again at those pics.
Hiya Margie!! so sorry i've been a slacker as of late. I must have walked by him 5 times that day and didn't notice this brown lump moving through the grass. We did not keep him because i figured he was in his natural habitat and keeping him would be doing him harm. I kinda hoped we'd be able to find him again but-no luck. He was a lot faster than i thought. Maybe he IS in your pond by now! (smile, wink) You should have a look! I hope you are continuing to feel better and better.
Ahhhh, what a cutie! You were right not to keep him I guess, but it must have been very tempting. I used to have a tortoise - but that was on a farm in Africa...very natural for them.
Turtle! Most excellent! We have painted turtles in Lake Lillian. They are a red-listed species... next step is endangered. Your family looks lovely, both the three of you family and the larger one! And you look happy... which makes me feel so very glad! sorry I have been so absent.. but none of you have ever been far from my thoughts... xo Stevie

Another pic! I want him. I wonder if he'd like living in our pond out the back? Lots of plants, a nice silty bottom and some fish to keep him company.
