dream meanings

To see the devil in your dream, signifies negative aspects of yourself. It may also indicate feelings of guilt that you have been harboring. It is time to release these feelings. Alternatively, the devil may represent intelligence, cunningness, deception, and cleverness.
To dream that you fought off the devil, symbolizes that you will succeed in defeating your enemies.
To dream that the devil talks to you, signifies that you will find some temptations hard to resist even though you know it is not in your best interest.
To dream that you and the devils were in friendly terms, suggests that you may be seduced and tempted into doing something you do not want to do. You may be dealing with issues of morality.

I never dream of the devil, but I do use 'him' on occasion when I have given into temptation about which I feel not in the least bit guilty. It's very handy to say 'the devil made me do it'...then of course, you are not to blame at all ;-)

I've had dreams.
I've seen a picture of the "devil".

Never have the two met.

I don't do devil dreams, thank goodness, but I LOVE your April Fool trick! I'd try it on Sophie but I'd probably have to sit through a lecture on why it couldn't possibly work because of the surface tension of the butter or the heatproof properties of salt molecules or some equally enlightening facts, and I think that would take the fun away.

Loved your earlier post about your pay rate, by the way. Before I went back to part-time work a few years ago, I felt very strongly along similar lines, and still do on others' behalf!
