Hi Cheryl Ann

Been away from blogging for a week or so for the most part, but I wanted to check in with you and say hello again. I loved this happy post, but I also scrolled down to read about your Mum and Dad - I'm really sorry to read of their failing health - it's hard to watch, I know. Thinking of you.

Hello again,

I just took some time to read back through the posts I'd missed. First of all, wow to those gorgeous photos. As Val said, they radiate happiness and beauty, and it's sad that your feelings haven't had an easy time reflecting that lately. Is that you doing the piggy backing? You're gorgeous! Self-image is a crazy thing. Trust me - you look fabulous.

I'm still reeling from the news that you weren't told about your father's hospitalisation. Perhaps your mother was trying to protect you, but there are some times when you just have to be there and know what's going on.

Hope things start to improve soon - remember those baby steps!
