I would like you to meet.....
My Father! His name is Elmer John Wieland. Born Feburary 22, 1930. The first two pics were taken in December 2005, and the later two were taken November 2005. They believe he may have Parkinsons. Yesterday he said "It's a different world in never-never land". I am numb right now, so hopefully i'll be back later to fill in.

Oh Cheryl Ann, thes pictures brink a lump to my throat. Your father looks like a lovely gentle man. What a kind face. It's so hard even when you know they are elderly and have been ill. I lost my dad last December and I still miss him, old, infirm and ill as he was. My heart goes out to you. xxxxxx
Oh my. I'm so sorry. These are lovely photos. My dad passed in Dec. 1999. There are some newer drugs in development and on the market for Parkinson's ... any chance of your Dad trying them?
I think my father could be doing a lot better than he is with the correct medication. the big obstacle at the moment is we cannot get a Neouroglist to see him until late November! It is my understanding that only a "neurologist" can diagnos and begin treatment. He is growing weaker and weaker everyday, his mobility is becoming a huge challenge for him. He can't take a shower, can't use the restroom, his appatite has shrunk (he lost 30 lbs in two months) and now he's experiencing pain all over. it just kills me because it doesn't have to be this way (in my eyes) and i can't seem to get anyone to help. My father is everything to me and he doesn't deserve this.
