Everyday gets.....

worse. My father is failing fast. They thought it might be beginning stages of Parkinsons but he's going down fast. I believe he was in the beginning stages two years ago, by all that we've found out just now. My Mother is 76 years old, and a shell of a woman. Her health and mental state is maxed at this point. i don't know what else to say....how about a song.....

Cheryl, I just left a comment with the last post. I feel for you so much. It's awful to be facing the loss of your beloved parent. Is there any hope that he might recover? As I said, I lost my dad last December and I still miss him terribly. My thoughts are with you, and thanks for the beautiful song. Music is a great solace in these times. Big hugs. I'm thinking of you, xxxxx

Vallyp,
thank you so very much for checking in on me. i'm afraid it's not going to be very happy at my blog place for a while. i am sorry for your loss and i remember last december.
Poor Pete is going to have to get me thru yet another hardship.
My Dad cannot get in to see a neurologist until Nov 23rd. I don't know if he's even going to make it till then. There is no cure for Parkinsons but the medication can help "quality of life". He is having a lot of difficulty getting around and he's fallen down quite a bit recently. He has lost over 25 pounds in two months.
i don't know where i'd be without you guys, thank you for holding me up with your hugs and good thoughts.
xo cher

Oh no, Cheryl, why is it taking so long for him to see someone? It seems crazy that someone as ill as he is should have to wait. Surely this is an emergency? I never relaised you had waiting lists in the US too. That is a big problem here in Europe and even wors in the UK. That's why so many people have gone private, but when it comes to this kind of illness, there is no extra help there either. Even more hugs and tell your dad he has many many well wishers among your friends. We are all 'rooting' for him xxx

The pictures of you all on the previous posts are just lovely.
So sorry to hear of your dads illness, he looks like a lovely man, and you shine by his example..
The best thing you can do is put the worry aside and treasure every moment with him, you will both gain strength from that..
sending lots of lovely warm hugs..xx..
